Ali Naseer
Ali Naseer is a co-founder and partner of Founders Group. Ali has spent his career executing M&A transactions, including sales and acquisitions involving strategic organizations and private equity groups across buyouts and recapitalizations.
Prior to forming Founders Group, Ali was an investment banker and private equity investor across industrials, services, and healthcare with Partners Group, Altaris, and Piper Sandler. Over his career, he has advised on and acquired businesses with a combined value of more than $15 billion.
Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He is originally from Eden Prairie, Minnesota and currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
Matt Menzi

Matt Menzi
Matt Menzi is a co-founder and partner of Founders Group. Matt has spent his career across both investment banking and engineering & operations, including product development, strategic finance, and business operations in high-growth platforms.
Prior to forming Founders Group, Matt was an investment banker at Citi; an operations leader and founding engineer across industrials, services, and consumer at IBIS Rice and Felt Technologies; and an Artificial Intelligence researcher at Northeastern University.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is originally from Bethesda, Maryland and currently resides in San Francisco, California with his wife.
